This course is designed to promote awareness of physical, mental, emotional and social development in order to achieve health and wellness. This course will help to assist each student in developing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle that promotes wellness by providing accurate health related information and to make educated, responsible, and healthy personal health decisions. 


Also, students will learn how to use a variety of skills to participate in physical activities, be able to apply concepts related to movement, understand and practice the skills that help them maintain a healthy lifestyle and recognize the value of physical activity to their overall health and wellness.
